100 more tickets released online for comedy night. Remaining 100 tickets we be made avilable on 11th September at the booking office. Any tickets not sold will then be posted online.
And a warm welcome to one and all, the festival this year is slightly later than previous years due to COVID-19 and the lockdown thereof. we have still managed to pull something out of the bag and here it is...
After Downley Day 18th September we will be starting with a much needed spiritual and physical wind down from the stresses of everyday life, with First Yoga calming our nerves with a yoga and gong bath session, be warned this may just relax you completely.
The 22nd Sept see a welcome return to the Common in the shape of the Comedy Night "A bit on the common-side" 3 acts 1 MC and Mad Squirrel wheeling in the bar wagon, what could be more appealing. This is the only ticketed event and only cost £15.00 + £1 booking fee per ticket, worth every penny.
The Downley History Group, headed up by John Willson shall endeavour to peak your local history interests with a well informed, sometimes witty, fact packed trek around Downley and its common land. They will be setting off at 10am on 26th September. I am told they end up at the pub, but don't tell him I told you ssshhhh.
From 27th September to 2nd October, you will be able to see this years artist, photographers and poets work at the Downley Community centre in School Lane. Every year the standards are raised higher and this year we hope to do the same.
